It's not happening here either- I just got done removing a bunch of snow and it's about 8 degrees out, which for us is pretty normal in winter (but it still sucks!). I laugh my a$$ off when people talk about "man-made" global warming & whatnot. Earth has had very warm & very cold periods throughout it's existence. Man has only come into "civilized" society within the last 12,000 years or so and we happen to be (luckily for us) in a long temperate period that's allowed us to crawl out of our caves & only deal with ice & snow part-time. As a result, we are who we are today but we're essentially the same, just a bit more advanced, with more opportunities and superior technology. It seems to me that the hard-core "Global Warmers" have as much "religious fervor" in their beliefs as many other zealots have had throughout history.

Sorry but I just can't help posting this!!! LOL

I have relatives in the Naples area Anthony, (Southwest Gulf Coast)...I'm thinking about visiting soon to escape for a week or so. There are a lot of "snowbirds" here who go down about now & come back in late March, older folks for the most part but they sure have the right idea. If you have the means financially to go there or another warm spot for the whole winter, that's perfect. I like to b!tch about winter but I wouldn't trade the other 3 seasons up here for anything. Even been to FL in the summer? I had the pleaseure of being in Orlando once in late July...I thought I was going to melt! lol!

How much snow did you get? We got about 18". Blow Up

I Love Naples, my cousin lived in a development off exit 111 off I 75. Place is beautiful,I say it all the time,you dont have to shovel warm weather.My inlaws are down there now,they bought a house in Palm Coast near Daytona and are staying till May I probably know 4 other guys down there for the winter from my neighborhood,Im going to do the same one day. We didnt get much snow maybe 7 or 8 inches,cold though, real cold.
