Depends on what kind of time period we're talking about.  I have over 20K in mine, but that's spread across the last 30 years.  Repaints, bodywork, motor, tranny, rear, A/C, suspension, miscellaneous upgrades...it all adds up over time.

It's cool no doubt I'm just jealous I don't have that much scratch I guess...would like to see it with a big block and running 7's for that much invested that's all.

I agree I have more than 20K in mine too and still plan to do more. It also depends on what you got to start with for the car. Mine was a basket case.
