corey what about mounts used by an A/C condenser (for they are in front of rad as well) mod them to work and would still look factory, I am sure you could come across out there in the yards and such

i have no front seat due to a mix up so i need that, and i need to get some more wiring done and fix a leaking freeze plug. ( having a mechanic come over to help this weekednd with that) then i need to fill the gas tank and ajust the valves and the fuel pressure regulator and do the timing and all that for the break in, then i still have to put on a few brake lines just need different end for them and bleed the brakes, also need new battery.

I wish, watch ill get this all done and something else will break or something else wont be right. THIS CAR IS CURSED..my grandma said that if you add up all the numbers on your liscence plate and it is a 1 thats the best and if its a 9 thats the worst and 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 are there too 3 ill make you $ and stuff like that. wElll my car is a 9. like if your plate is 234-trd then its 2+3+4=8 so your f'd. and if its 543-jgg then its 5+4+3=12 BUT carry it over cuz it cant be 10 or higher so it goes 12-9=3 your GOOD! this has been true with all my parents cars and a few family members cars like my sisters first car was an 8 and the engine blew up, her 2nd car was a 9 and she crashed it and rolled from hitting a piece of metal in the road at night then the curb and boom flipeed it danm bad luck

I've got to rant on you a little bit Corey- so here goes

Quit cursing yourself like that, please! You've already done more on one car than I have. Take some pride in it at least a little bit for crying out loud.

Even if something goes wrong with it, you have already proven that you are more than capable to take care of it. Half the battle in having a good outcome is in how you perceive a situation will turn out. I understand that you get frustrated at times, but that is no reason to think that everything is going down the crapper.

Ok- I'm done. You may proceed.

I concur. $hit happens. $hit breaks. You just fix it better when it does and eventually, nothing breaks anymore. It all goes with the territory.

Besides, "Curses" are for weak minded people.

Dan started the whole "Green Car Curse" with all of the bad luck that he has had with green cars (but always seems to end up with another one Suspect

). After he got my old four door 71 from me (green paint still lies underneath the beige color!) he had a string of odd things happen to him including something about the car either taking off rolling or dropping which fubar'ed his leg pretty badly.

The "green car curse" existed for many many years in roundy round racing. Harry Gant and Rusty Wallace worked to end the curse. JB

I bought 2 lbs of them for a w-end trip and all i had was stamina in the bathroom..... Surprised

i have had 4 green cars and none of them ever gave me bad luck. must be a stupidstitious thing cat

good progress today but a little bad news.

Got the gas tank filled up and the fuel pump still wouldnt work, so i crimped the fuel line and took it off then took it apart,it was completly rusted shut inside so i clean it all up so it spins now and reinstalled it but it sounds like fireworks instead of a humm SO i need a new fuel pump!

GOOD NEWS is i got the valves preadjusted and the leaks fixed on the manifold and freeze plug so the radiator is all good too, it cranks over really good too! so now i just need the fuel pump in order to start it.
