just a litle update.
installed a 3 point BMR strut brace. did a good tune up and uhh i didnt find top speed cuz it went past the 145 and kept going to around 165 and started liftin the front end but it was still pullin! had to let off tho cuz the floating. ran a 14.4 with the crap tires spinnin about half track with the heavy subs!

-Found that in 1990 the IROC contract ended (91-92 are just z28) and the last Iroc was bult in december of 1989, mine WAS built in dec of 89 and the 90 models also had to be built with a hardtop of built with the l98 and then sent out to C&C to get the tops custom made..making it according to my VIN 1 of 6 identical cars
and a little update..
-The transmission pump is leaking so im getting it rebuilt
-i have a free 4th gen rear end waiting for me with same gears 3.23 just more track width and in better condition, 4th gen rears are 2" wider on each side but the tire will still be inside the fender dont worry lol.
-cut out the air boxes for better airflow to the air filters and it helped a little throttle response and better cooling for sure,
-throttle body coolant bypass mod.
-AC removed
-smog pump removed
Avraged 26 mpg on a 800 mile trip!

Meh, its nothing like Building a old school with blood sweat and tears. but once its paid off. def. gotta get another Chevelle to build
