Are the new '120mm' 5-bolt wheels equal to 4.75" 5-bolt older style wheels? I've looked around the web and one site said it will cause damage and another said they were interchangeable. Calculations show very little difference.

It probably depends on the wheel and how the wheel fits on the wheel hub. The wheel is supposed to carry the load on the hub and the lugs are just supposed to hold it on rotor.

Usually the hub diameters are different and you have to make sure the metric wheels are hub centric. I looked into it when I was going to put some 3 piece BBS wheels off of a BMW on my wagon.
