I'm guessing that's Japan. That's their brand of weird. I have to give them some credit for the cantilevering on the front cow-catchers -- Frank Lloyd Wright would be proud.

But the exhausts look like the car-equivalent of tentacle porn.

Oops, you're from KY! Just kidding, I know it's Japan and they do do some outlandish things there, also with big rigs. But they do also have a passion for old American Iron, for example impressive annual El Camino gatherings. So it ain't all bad!

I watched that video twice.  While I won't be adding 8' exhaust extensions, some of those cars have pretty creative/extensive body mods.  Yeah, it's weird, but it's different.  Considering their cars are really bland to begin with, I can understand wanting to do something different.  The cartoonish splitters, wings, and exhaust definitely kill off the bland look.  Actually some of the bolt-on fender flares look pretty good on a rather boring car. Hopefully six years from now, my kid isn't wanting to weld on some crazy 8' exhaust extensions (and then want to paint them yellow)...

Yeah, it's doing fine, driving it regularly including for hauling stuff. Replaced the heater hoses recently and next will be the interior. It's always something and that's part of the fun.
