What do you get when you do 3 long burnouts on a set of Nitto Drag Radials?
No traction afterwards!

Re: 74Malibu383 Videos
Just want to say that I first visited this site when you were "Ride of the Week" & that's what got me bit by the G3 bug again. I had almost lost hope looking for another 76 until then. Hands down if I had the money your car would be the one I would want to replicate!

Did you know that your car is on the PHR website? They used it for a page asking for pics of big coupes for an upcoming issue:

Thank you all... It's great to have support for these forgotten years.
"how you did your tail lights???" - Not sure what you're asking here. They're stock tail lights.
"Did you know that your car is on the PHR website?" - I had no idea, but thank you for sharing. That photo was taken by a local photographer and submitted to PHR. I guess the liked it.

Re: 74Malibu383 Videos
i saw 4 lights but it didnt dawn on me that yours is a 74 not a 73 LOL so thats why I asked. On the 73 model only the out side 2 light up as brake and tail lights, the inner 2 lights are reverse lights and reflectors

You might have answered your own question there. What about using the wiring from a 74 in a 73 to get all 4 working?

Re: 74Malibu383 Videos
you would still need reverse lights somewhere ?? right ?? or just not use them ??

Re: 74Malibu383 Videos
If you really want to do this, I would keep the reverse lights and build some kind of custom bracket to hold the brake light bulbs so they shine in the red plastic area of the tail lights.
You would wire the new lights in paralell with the old ones so that they mirror each other when used.
Sounds like some work, but you'd be different.

Re: 74Malibu383 Videos
Yours was by far the best -- you totally obliterated the camera view. Do you buy them based on their smoke rating?

Re: 74Malibu383 Videos
HA! No, I buy them based on their grip. Unfortunately, the warranty doesn't cover smoke shows.
Wish the guy would have kept the camera running. My buddy behind me had to wait a good 30 seconds for it to clear.
