"oil pressure tach volts tach & rpm tach & another"
"I think it has a 302 in it im not for sure"
" I'm selling for 18,000 "
Because he knows his car and how much work he has done to it.

They were snapping on that on another site I go on. I like those Torinos just not that one. You could fill a big garbage can with all that dopey junk hes got on it.

Re: what's this guy smoking
Although less valuable,( and not a muscle car), I always thought this would be the Torino to have.

Re: what's this guy smoking
I don't think he could have done one more thing to that car to make it look worse.
I had a buddy with a gold 74 Torino. I think he gave 500 bucks for the car but 1000 for the stereo.
We used to sit in his driveway listening to Zepplin and Floyd because the car was always broke down, but the stereo was nice.

X2.
And one more time...it's a major pet peeve that a Seller can't even clear the car of extension cords, plastic pail on the hood, creeper, beer cans, tarp and other clutter while having the nads to ask $18K for this deplorable piece of work.
On the subject of cool Torinos, this '71 GT project (351-4bbl) was brought into local yard this past Sept. All complete...just needed some love.

I didn't notice that before, sad part is I think its there cuz he thinks it looks cool. Â It took a few looks before I noticed the naked lady trucker emblem on the oh so cool grille.77mali wrote:dynchel wrote:http://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/4788140884.html

Re: what's this guy smoking
I'm pretty sure the red wire is some sort of light strip, goes with his theme of having parts either less than $5 or free that make no sense at all and look horrid.

Re: what's this guy smoking
Yep -- it's 'glow wire'. You're supposed to hide the stuff behind something to give the indirect lighting effect, not put it on the surface so it shines in your face.

Ya gotta admit that what these types try to sell is good entertainment sometimes...
At least he could have shoveled out the stuff around the car before taking pics...
Was 18 the price, or his IQ ? Just wonderin'.....

The picture reminds me of IV's strung all over a dying patient. I think the bent fender emblem pretty much sums up the cars condition. And what's with the green paint in the engine compartment?

Re: what's this guy smoking
The rust around the Torino emblem is a nice touch.

Agreed, but that patient could be saved. Â The problem is that the doctor's a farking idiot.
