There was Actually a model that Had the V6 turbo Mali I don't remember if it came in 76 or 77 But it was Buicks testing mule which lead up to the t-types and grand national's

I'm willing to bet that lump is not from the original test mule. And maybe I've gone blind, but I'm not seeing the actual turbo in that pile....?

Mine was way worse- that ones an easy fix- too bad the gauge bezel is for a sweep set up.
