Re: 75 Gmc Sprint Sp from Quebec
Looking great there sir. I've always thought about after tucking the bumpers if the ends would look out of place. I too am considering doing the "narrowing" of the bumpers to make them look more to portion with the body. That's just my opinion of course. Love the neat little twist with the fog lights too.

Smoke fog lights;
Smoke parking light;
I will install 7" smoke headlight on the car and paint the bumper the same color of the car.
I cut all the inside of the front grill to try to make something custom;
Wow, very cool result with fog lights!
I had the same idea on adding lights sometime before we start modding bumpers but we didn't have any spare bumper with fog housings to cut them out. Or are your fog housings fully custom made?
Bmw turn lights fitted great too
And i think you have to design some custom grill filling to look nice, not just mesh imho

More news! The engine run!
Since a years, i can't get the engine work because wiring nightmare. Aftermarket wiring can't work for me so i buy a 2004 Silverado parts truck. I swap the wiring in my car and he won't start the first time. No fuel pump. I found ground problem but the engine won't start. I finally found clogged injectors!
Now the engine start and i like the sound from the Magnaflow exhaust.

New update!
I had somes problems with the rear shocks because i had 2" lowering springs. I found nothing 2" shorter so i made a bracket to change the fixation point. Is it redneck or ok?

Electrics fans done. I made an aluminium laser cut plate.

Front bumper done. Recess with my bracket. 2" was cut on the lenght of the bumper. I install Dodge Neon 4" fogs light and BMW parking light. Install the spoiler under the bumper.

I change the rib on the part between the hood and the grill. I put a scoop on the hood so, the rib was not the same than the factory one.

My dash was restored with fiberglass, ready to do the leather upholstery.

My dad have his upholstery shop since 40 years. I'm waiting for the time to work with him to do all the interior of my car!

As always sir, you do excellent work. When you changed the front piece between the hood and the grill, did you also modify your hood to look like your scoop?

Yes, around 6 inch on the front of the hood. This was more easy than reworked the scoop!

Nice work, love the fog lights. I was thinking of doing something similar, but not cut into the bumper. I like your idea though.

Awesome work, but it'd be great if there were progress pics along the way for those who might want to attempt those things. We're all DiY'ers, but advice is always welcome from someone who's been down that road and knows what works and what doesn't. I'm pretty sure there's a fair number of members who'd like to restore their dashes...

Re: 75 Gmc Sprint Sp from Quebec
I'm working on;
Swap the manual glass to electric. The 75 SP have the electric windows but i put manual windows doors because mine was in bad shape!
In the same times, doors lock! I will made by laser cutting, better mount bracket for the actuators.

Working in my custom grill! Keep only the frame and i will paint it the same color than the car. I made inside grill, i will paint it in satin black. Finally, i made a back grill in stainless for a "chrome" detail inside.

Un fond en stainless "chrome";

I tip my hat to you Sebastien for all the fantastic work and skills you have. I could only wish that I had a small percentage of your skills.

Really nice! You should take it to the Adirondack nationals in Lake George NY next September. Lots of people from Quebec there.

Man is that going to be sweet when it's done sir.
Have you got any pictures of how your scoop blends into the front of the hood?

Re: 75 Gmc Sprint Sp from Quebec
Thank you sir. I didn't realize you had cut that much out of your hood. Is it still sturdy after that much metal being removed? It looks like you made a very sharp peak on the front of the hood. I like how it turned out for sure. Great job. but then again I don't think there's anything you've done that isn't nicely done.

Yes, i changed the peak to go with the scoop. I hope that everything will be strong. In a previous picture, we see that i put chrome16g stainless steel plate glued inside to solidify the hood.

Re: 75 Gmc Sprint Sp from Quebec
New jobs done!
Finish the rear Wilwood brakes installation, i had to oversize the inside hole of the adaptor on a lathe to fit my diff,
New diff cover,
Impala SS rear swaybar,
1" rear wheels spacer,

Laser cut brackets for the brake hoses,

Little brass parts made for the E-brake cable. Front E-brake cable from Inline tube and the rear E-brake parts from Wilwood.

I found a rear bumper C5 corvette wiring so i will be able to do my C5 tail light wiring with the right sockets.

New photos!
Tailgate is done. Repro tailgate cable was junk. I only used the hardware and found nice original cable.
Doors handles and seals done.

Cowl hood seal was junk to. Too fat and too rigid. The holes are not made and the nails included too big.
I cut it out and used the original nails. Made a scoop grill.

Try to restore the SP emblem.

Fix and polish trims.
