Lets see your wheel and tire combo
I havent seen a thread on this yet and I dont know why. Id like to see everyone post up pics of their cars with the wheel sizes, backspacing, and tire sizes, and any suspension mods (higher/lower springs etc) listed so everyone can refer to this thread to see what wheel and tire combo fits and get an idea of what it will look like.
For example
All original springs - 14x7" with 4"bs on 225/70-14s

Re: Lets see your wheel and tire combo
15/7 & 15/8.5 slot mags. Tires a mastercrafts size 215/70/15 front & 295/50/15 rear. Car has station wagon springs with one inch spacers for tire clearance (wheels are reverse offset, idk the back spacing) fronts are big block coils with one coil cut.

These were LR60-15 BFG's on an 8" wide Corvette rally. It is either stock height or slightly lowered.

Re: Lets see your wheel and tire combo
Current setup is a M/T 10.5 slick or 10.5W slick (11.3" wide) on either a 8" wide Corvette rally or a homemade10" wide Corvette rally (with the 2" added to the back side).
I don't recall the front tire size (...I don't spend much time thinking about the fronts - lol) but they are on a production 15x6 rally wheel.
Car is down about 2" via cut coils.

Re: Lets see your wheel and tire combo
I can also fit a a M/T 15.5 LT (13.5" wide) street tire on my aforementioned 10" rim. This is a result of judicious frame reworks but no changes were required to the body.
This also shows the front tire width a little better; I don't like a super skinny front tire because of the way the fender flares out at the top. To me it needs a bit wider tire to fill that area out (personal preference) as opposed to a more slab sided car.

Re: Lets see your wheel and tire combo
Keith,
What did you have to do to the frame to get that tire to fit?
Notch it?

15x8 stock vette wheels with cooper cobra 255/60/15 tires. Springs are off 1996 Impala SS. I'm not sure of the backspace on these but they are not reproduction wheels if that helps.

Re: Lets see your wheel and tire combo
springs: DSE 2" drop all four corners; Belltech drop shocks
wheels: 17x9 with 6" backspacing
tires: 275/40 up front, 275/50 out back; planning to go 275/50 all the way around -- the 40's are tad too short for my liking.
