Mcarlo77 Might have some in the yard he goes to was telling me they have a whole header in a truck bed there MAYBE get lucky

Yep...there's a header panel with headlights, grill, etc. from the '73 Elkie SS sitting in the truck bed. Grill has a piece broken out of it. I'm having a little trouble negotiating with this yard of late since the oldest son bought it out from the dad. Used to be, I could pick and pull any item I needed. Now, they are slapping an inventory number on things like this header panel and pricing it as a complete unit with all attached parts in their computer. I'm getting mixed messages from the son (owner) who will tell me to go pull a part off it anyway...and, the sales desk people who apparently are instructed to follow whatever is in the computer. Trouble is, the owner is absent more often than not when I'm out there. So...who knows if I can pull the grill extensions, bezels, whatever.

All the junk yards around were I live have crushed all the good stuff. They all have been bought out by big companies. It sucks!
