Wiper removal Empty Wiper removal

simple question: I want to replace my wiper blades (mine are discolored refills are shot) Do I just pry them off the arm pivot? I tried this with quite a bit of pressure and they don't budge. I am not talking about removing the arm, I want to remove the whole blade not just the refill.

Some blades have a little latch of sorts under the blade that you have to press on to get them off. I believe that's what I did when I replaced mine.

Hard to explain without a pic but i'll try, Flex the blade in the opposite direction of the glass. This opens the hole slightly where the pin goes in, You'll need to pry in the pin area. Once you get it off you'll see a grove in the pin where the spring rests. You are trying to open up the spring by flexing the blade backward. There is a round spring around the hole in the blade itself. You almost need 3 hands to do it. Hope this helps.
