Anyone have a parts book for steering parts? Moog and Rockauto dont show what I need. I'd like to know if the center link on my 73 with MANUAL steering is the same part number as a power steering unit.

Moog shows DS808 but says power steering. I have manual.

I just looked on napa pro link and they don't specify between manual and power steering. I called the store and the guy said he would think it would be different. The one part # he came up with was the same as you DS808.

Hi Ant !! Rockauto doesnt have a listing for manual steering. Worst case, I'll have to order the p/s one locally and see if it matches.

The guy at napa told me he converted a'71 chevelle to manual steering and he had to change the pitmen arm but was able to reuse the center link.

I'm just researching parts in case I find I need one. I remember the center link being the issue when I originally changed the front end. But it wasnt hard to find at the parts store.

I do know when I did it on my monte, with power steering, there were two center links for it. One had the extra hole for the steering stabilizer the other did not.

Speedway motors sells center links for 39.00, they carry several suspension items for our chassis as they are popular choices for dirt track racing.

Joe, TRW just lists it for all the a body's and all app's so maybe they are all the same.
