Bad news

I may not hit this forum much longer. I norticed vison changes several months ago and diabetes is taking it's toll. I am now blind in my right eye andf the left is fading very fast. Because of this I have had several accidents in the garage where I took direct blows to my good eye. I guess it's time to hang up my blue suede shoes. I guess I'll just have to part out my Elkie. Just kidding. It's been 3 years since I had the quadruple bypass surgery and they say they usually last 5 years. So, nexct time you do a burn out, give me a thumbs up. JB

Next spring I will do a nice Burnout for you JB. Cars are in storage and its below zero today to much snow. I'm praying for you!

Keep the faith, and hang in there! I am also a Kentuckian by birth from Owensboro, and we are tough old birds. My Granddad still worked on cars into his 80's too. My Dad is a retired (ha,ha!) lifelong mechanic too, and is still is out fixin' the jeep today in the snow. I hope your eyesight levels off and you can be with us here another decade! Remember how blessed you are to be in the Bluegrass state, and best of wishes to you sir. Beer

I saw a guy do a shorter timed burn out in a Monte and when the tire blew it took out the whole QTR and trunk.

JB With all my heart from the time We have chatted on both forums, both here and CT you have meant the world in everything you have helped me discover and learn from you over the years. In my prayers for sure my friend !!! You will be sorely missed here for sure if that does happen but you have to keep your spirits up and keep us in the loop !
