Hi guys, met Anthony on FB, I'm 56, owned upwards of 150 Pontiacs. I've been in auto parts sales almost 40 years now, so if I can help in any way, please let me know. My current driver is a 79 Grand Am (I know, wrong year), but I just sold a 73 Grand Am sedan. I've owned 2 73 GAs, 3 73 GTOs, a 73 LeMans, 2 74 GAs, a 74 LeMans GT, a 76 LeMans Sport Coupe with an Olds 260 V-8 and a factory BW 5spd, a 77 Can Am, and around 20 73-77 GPs. One of the 74 GAs was a 4dr, 4spd, I loved it (the more oddball, the more I like it!). I love almost anything Pontiac, as well as all the 73-80 GM A & G bodies.

Well, enough of my rambling . . . . for now.

Hey Dave,whats up?Welcome,we had some laughs,kind of at your expense! Sorry if you got offended. I have a Pontiac too,a 09 G8 Gt. I know not a real Pontiac but it was the last batch at the dealer and my first brand new car. Id like to have a 61 Catalina but they are big bucks when decent. Anyhow welcome and stay away from Paul (77Mali),dudes crazy!

No, no offense taken. Just remember, I can take it, but I can dish it out too, LoL. I would have shown up sooner, didn't know y'all were waiting with baited breath (really got to quit eating worms) for my appearance till Limey told me. I'll be checking in daily now.

Thank goodness you showed, we were starting to run out of other Dave's! We screw around like this sometimes & threads can take on a life of their own. This is by far the best intro thread on the site, thanks to a few sick puppies.

Thanks! It is actually a photo of the factory wheels on my 79 GA, they are real wire wheels and were only available in 79-80 on the GA and GP only. Too bad they are 14". I will probably store them and put at least a 15" wheel on it when Spring gets here.

Is your car black and gold? I remember a guy that worked for my cousin many years ago that had a 79 or 80 Grand Prix with those wheels in that scheme. Some kind of special edition.
