Has anyone installed a nice, good quality, decent power, dual voice coil front dash speaker in their G3? most of the ones I see online reviews are less than encouraging. The only one I saw with with high power was a Custom auto sound 4 in x 10 in for a 65 or 66 Mustang but I didn't know if it would fit our cars. a Brand name or website would be very helpful, Thanks in advance.

In my factory stereo car I have two speakers up front. That's how it came factory, just have new speakers in it. Getting a DVC speaker might be more expensive than two 6x4s beside each other, and better L-R seperation too

I put one in a Mustang. I looked at 'em for a while and settled on a 3 way RetroSound. (I think, it's been a while).
It wasn't cheap, like $75. And I had to build a mounting bracket.
And after all that, it sounded like crap. High and tinny. After numerous adjustments and tinkering, I ended up unhooking it.

Crutchfield usually has a pretty large selection of dash speakers, but I kinda doubt any of them are any good.

Lemme know how it works out. I'm looking at them for the Belair.
