From Minnestoa
Thanks for the ad a few months back. I finally got my project up and running as well as back on the road. The members here are of great help and have helped me with a few problems I had.
Here are a few shots of the not finished yet project.
Thanks again,
Jeff

Thanks Bill. Yes, it is a 75 even though it has a 74 grill in it.

Just curious, what brand shifter is that and what trans are you running?

Re: From Minnestoa
I was wondering when someone would notice it and ask me Joe. It's a Hurst Autostik 1 that I've had since 1974. It's now been in a total of 3 cars. It bolts directly to the back of either a TH350 or TH400. I've had it bolted to both. It's on a TH350 right now. It's a rod linkage and not a cable. Love it and have no plans of running anything else.

Thats very cool. Looks just like a 4 speed set up. Nice clean install. I should have noticed the missing 3rd pedal. LOL.

Thanks knightfan, and I hear that a lot. I always ask them "Where's the third pedal?" Â

Don't know how I missed this thread...but, welcome from Eagan. Lovin' that shifter, too. Where are you located?

Hey, Jeff...since you're in Faribault, you ever run down to Owatonna to Snow's Classics? Went down 1-35 a week or so ago and stopped to see the classic cars parked along the east side of the interstate on the north end of town. They had this beautiful '76 Monte Carlo w/26K original miles sitting out there. Just checked their website and i see it's been sold. But, check out the '75 red Malibu they have for sale!

Living up there in God's country, just about everything is far away; except beautiful Voyageur's Nat'l Park and Boundary Waters...

Sorry but could care less about those places.
Other than the winters it's OK up here.

Re: From Minnestoa
It's good to see others here from Minnesota. Not sure about you guys, but I often asked what kind of car mine is. The Monte's for some reason are better known than our Chevelles are.
Mcarlo77, I have been by the car lot there in Owatonna. He has quite the wide selection of cars doesn't he?

Re: From Minnestoa
Montes had such a unique styling that they are easily recognized by the masses. Try driving a '75 Laguna....people stare at it in complete bewilderment...lol!
