Re: 73 ss wheels
Are they K 14 6 (valve stem) 27 XZ ??
If thats correct. They are Kelsey Hayes, 1974, June 27. XZ is correct for 73, 74 and pretty sure 75. Code changed to UD in 1976 and got some stainless trim.
I think those would be off a 1974 camaro.
Good find. Hows the rest of them? Hows the back sides?

Re: 73 ss wheels
I'd get them blasted and shoot them with 2K (two part) grey epoxy. Then shoot the fronts either the light or dark silver and let the overspray fall where it may on the backside. That how my original ones were and thats how I redid mine.
I think clanceman's stock wheels had black primer on them. Maybe its different for a Canada built car.

Yes, your good to go. And once they're on with the trim rings, you cant see the date code anyway.

Re: 73 ss wheels
That’s correct my original Canadian SS wheels had black on the backside. So I did the same thing Joe did, sandblasted, 2 coats of epoxy primer (but I used black) then the mag wheel argent paint since mine gets the light version. Incidentally, I have a 1978 Camaro rally wheel same 14x7 design and it too has black paint on her back but has body-color blue from the camaro
