Scary ride?
My new gf talked me out of renting a truck.
Was needing to move a king size foam mattress, rolled up,in a decent sized box.
I say fine,Ill just put the El Camino to use.
She sees the elko..I see the fear in her eyes.
This thing is loud and obnoxious.
Drop me off at the corner?
I'll follow you in my car?
Lifes funniest moments.
Elko made the journey easily in 2 hours..the laughs will last a lifetime.

Re: Scary ride?
If anyone is interested..I have to recommend a gel foam mattress.
I paid over $1000 for my last inner spring mattress..and it gives me a back ache.
Gel foam comes in a box and expands to a normal height mattress in less than 24 hours.
No more back aches.

Re: Scary ride?
Ha...glad you you had the opportunity to impress her with that beast!
BTW...I can attest to the foam mattress in a box. My daughter turned us onto these in the past year and I honestly don't ever see going back to the traditional inner springs/coils. I think that as word spreads and the old, established notion that a mattress must have coils AND be expensive to be comfortable is overcome, people will overwhelmingly choose this option in the future.
