Re: 75 wheel/tire size help
Hogwash on fitting a 29 inch tire...
The ones about to bolt on to mine are 29.5 by the book. A little bigger in reality.
May have to roll the lip of the bondo encrusted rusty bubbling front edge a hair, but it will fit up in there fine.
I did the homework on filling up the fender and I can't wait to get the suckers bolted up.

Re: 75 wheel/tire size help
No one ever said anything about rolling the lip, but I'd love to see a pic too. I hope your body mounts are good, because that sidewall is going to flex like crazy around a corner.

Re: 75 wheel/tire size help
I knew the sidewall would be huge on a 15 incher, so I went with 16s in the rear...
I took a lot of time to make sure the sidewalls looked about the same height on the car from front to back and I think I did it. I hate the big 'n little look.
First pic is the old combo... The Keystones and dunlops will be up for sale shortly.
I told myself I couldn't put the new rubber on until I got some other little BS wrapped up.

Re: 75 wheel/tire size help
So do I.....
I got a set of Nova Rallies just like your set for sale & I got a set of 14" Torq Thrust knock offs. Both look too small on my car with the available tire sizes. At least the Olds Rally wheels are 15" & I can run decent sized tires for cheap.

Re: 75 wheel/tire size help
I got a set of 15 x 7 inch Corvette Rallys I need to part ways with if anyone is interested. They are in tip top shape, and I'm blasting them and painting them this week. If someone is interested, I can paint them a specific color, or just leave them primed...
