I have a Technalon car cover for my chevelle. I bought it mail order years ago and its definitely too big. Its hangs down in the front and rear almost to the ground. So its for a much longer car than my 73. But I love it its a high quality cover. Breathable material, locking cable holes and waterproof.

Anyway, what are you guys using. I'd like something breathable and waterproof so I can use it outside "just in case". And also because of morning dew. Anything laying on the top sides of your car attracts morning dew and can cause real havoc on the paint or especially primer. Except epoxy.

Whats everyone using? I will be selling mine on craigslist and I'm looking at the covercraft brand.

LOL, I just bought 5 of those plastic disposable covers off ebay. The best one I ever bought the the one from California car covers. It was the superweave. It was soft on the inside and durable on the outside. I had the reflective piping put on it. It was for the 79 Z28 I restored. It went with the car when I sold it. Damn nice cover and was around $300 and fit like a glove.

I have the luxury of being able to store mine indoors for the winter. The only drawback to that, for me at least, is it is where I can't get it out to work on until the snow melts. Sad

I found this site Joe. It looks like they have quiet a few companies to choose from.

Cool, thanks guys. My car is always stored indoors. I'd like an indoor/outdoor one just in case I take the car somewhere and have to stay there. Just some extra insurance.

Thanks for bringing this up Joe. I was going to be on the quest for a cover as well. I've read a few threads where people have advise against them since they can possibly scratch the paint. Please post on which cover you decide to go with.

My Z28 sat inside but the cover was nice cause it kept it safe from the family going in and out of the garage. And since it was a CCC and rated for outdoor I knew it was going to be nice on the inside and tough on the outside.

I have  one for my '74 Malibu, that I bought about 8 years ago.  Not a cheap one, and it was over $250 bucks.  Fits good too.  I don't always use it, since the Malibu is in a hangar at the airport.  I leave it off so I can take the Malibu out & tear around on the airport occasionally !
Trying to remember where I got it.....CRS ya know !..it's still listed in a catalog, but which catalog  !!!lol Very Happy

Maybe the NPD catalog.....
