Could someone provide a pic of the parking brake cable support or hook that attaches to the cross member on a factory TH-400 equipped car. Any 73~74 A-body should be fine. '75 & up wont work. A pic out of a assembly manual would be great also if someone has it.

73ss,

Just got my 73 Monte Carlo 454 TH400 out of the muffler shop and had to connect the same hooks. The diagram shown is from the 73 Service Manual. The short thicker hook (1x) connects to the upper cross member hole located approximately at the passenger side. The thinner longer hooks (2x) connect to the outer frame sections as shown in the diagram.

Thank you for the reply eboklund73. I have that same book.

 Found my problem, I have to drop the cross-member out and open the TH-400 hole for the hook, It's there but not fully knocked out, then I'm going to make a TH-400 hook.
