Have any of you seen the 1973 Chevelle Wagon from Arizona on ebay? The guy says its an SS car, but several things show to me its a Malibu. First off, it has NO dark argent stripes on the lower body. ALL Chevelle SS cars had either the Light Argent (Silver) or the Dark Argent (Charcoal). You could not order them without stripes, but could have a 1975/76 Laguna Type S-3 without stripes. Also with the RPO Z15 Super Sport Package, the fender moldings were deleted, along with the rocker moldings. Inside it has the standard Linear speedometer, not the round dash bezel slots. Plus the bezels on the SS cars were black. The steering wheel appears to be the woodgrain, instead of the sliver inlay with the white SS letters on it. I could not see the passenger side dash emblem, it should say "Chevrolet" instead of "Malibu" Anyone can add SS emblems, door panels,and the correct black SS grill emblem. Also, the SS wagons used the Turbine wheels as did the el Camino SS. The SS coupe used the 14x7 Ralley 2 wheel, pained color keyed to the lower matching body stripes. The build sheet would tell the story, maybe its still over the gas tank, thats where mine have been. Check it out todays listing, August 18. Mitchell

One other thing I ailed to mention on the current Chevelle Wagon, If you'll notice, it does not have the Sport mirrors, which were standard on the SS package. It has standard chrome. Its a nice Malibu wagon.

I sent a message to him to see a picture of the build sheet, and he did not respond. I guess it was sold outside of eBay.

I am willing to accept a reasonable offer for the car to end the auction early. Please call with any questions or to come out and look at the car and test drive it. You can call 530-723-2145. The car is located in Prescott, Arizona.

How that Phone got thru the eBay system is weird its usually Pulled out by there software

I have seen listings where the company phone has been on the listing. However in those cases it was hidden by a caption saying if you want to call them click on the caption. The phone number is then shown.
