I built my first website!
I built my first website!
Okay, this is the first website I have ever made, and it's for our car club. Took me about 10 days to figure out what I was doing, edit it add some pics and get everything where i want it. I think it's just done. If anyone wants to give me any feedback or suggestions, here is the link.

Re: I built my first website!
I think you are off to a good start. What could use some improving are the clickable links. Particularly the ones below the header, because I nearly didn't see them. Also, make the name "pop" more. Jazz it up with graphics or just use a larger font with some drop shadow or a small stroke if nothing else. I think Dan done an awesome job setting up the layout here, great example.
I also run a website other than being an Admin on here. Fun stuff huh?

Re: I built my first website!

Re: I built my first website!
Pics are posted of some of the cars in our club. 51 out of 149 members showed up, but it was so hot I could only stand the heat long enough to get pics of some of them. I mostly posted the cars with their owners, and am saving the more detaild pics and stories for feature articles. Let me know what you think!

I see them now. My favorite by far is the 58 Impala. Also digging the Willys wagon behind your car & the Studebaker Avanti.

Yeah that '58 is impressive. I took a lot more pics of that one. The detail is amazing.

I added a few more pics to the parade. My mom took a few of my car going down the street. Not the greatest pics, but it was in the parade! Pics are on page 7 of the 2010 Parade page. Oh yeah, and I won a plaque (my first win) for Best In Class.
