My boss at the tow company want to turn this one in for junk money. Since I just sold my Salon, I had project car money burning a hole in my pocket. Since it's totally rust free, and has a decent interior I had to save it.

Those are not too common around here. Haven't seen one in years. Good driver, or lots of good parts. Good that you can save it.

Looks solid. There's a few left floating around my parts. One of them has a cowl induction hood & sounds pretty good. Has a mild lope similar to the old Comp 270H grind in a SBC.

It's on the road again. Should be going for tint next, now that the post are painted. Then onto Craigslist. Very Happy

I like the big "family" cars. the lady 2nd door is in a nursing home and has a near mint 84 big Olds 2 door hardtop in her garage. She had the motor rebuilt about a year ago because she likes to warm it up by flooring it. If the new engine should happen to be going bad like the old one someone might could get it for a song. Her son/caregiver is so tight he squeeks when he walks. JB

Big cars aren't very easy to sell these days with high gas prices, but even then they are great for road trips.

Those dont do bad on gas, the big Olds 2 door if the right color is really nice. They only have 307's in them and are indeed great on the highway.

I'm learning to love my Caprice. It's ugly to look at, but fun to drive. IMHO, nothing is more comfortable than a big cruiser. This is coming from a person that has owned small trucks, big 4wds, SUVs, sports cars, muscle cars, & even jeep type vehicles. Each type has it's advantages & disadvantages. Convertibles are awesome for sunny days & suck in the winter. Sports cars are fun to kick around the back roads, but try taking a long trip & see how you feel. 4wd trucks can haul stuff & get you back in the woods for offroad fun, but they suck gas. Large sedans & even "mid-size" cars like our G3's are just downright comfortable to drive with just enough power to keep us happy (well sometimes, lol).
