it was almost 70* today

so i woke "the bitch" up from a long winters nap! it was almost 70* today, so off came the cover and out on the road we went. only burned about a half tank but it was still fun as hell. nice to drive something fast rather than ride something fast (sleds). still runs great, only got to run it up to about half throttle or so but still gits it

70, huh...we finally hit 30 and I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! About all I was able to do was pull the cover off my Monte and sit there in the garage staring at it. Neighbors just don't understand...

Don't know if it's better to have an occasional day of Spring like temps thrown in the middle of winter...or, to just languish through a continuous string of below freezing temps and not be reminded of how much better life could be. Spring can't come soon enough for me.

It's been a beautiful weekend in Dallas and then today it's 20 degrees with snow and sleet on the ground. Mine got moved into the garage since it got a good detail over the weekend, and the Explorer is covered in snow and ice now. I'd rather it be cold all the winter long, rahter than the yo-yo we have in Texas.

We were on the northern fringe of this latest winter storm, but still got 4-5" yesterday. Now, they say we'll be treated to windchills of -25 to -40 tonight! WTF...won't be seeing any groundhogs around here!

Yea, it has been a harsh winter, I just got a call from my school. No Scool tommorow, a supposed 2ft of snow.

to make you guys feel better, it was -12* this am and going to be -25 to -30* tomorrow am. only 2" of snow tho.

We got 20in of snow out here today and single digits overnight. I went to sleep in OK and woke up in MI, sheesh...It was 70+ just 2 days ago. I haen't seen snow like this since I left home in IL.

It hasn't snowed near me as much as there was icy rain. It was constant from noon til a few minutes ago.

Yea, snow is pretty bad this year. I thought about pulling my car and taking a pic of it near the end of my driveway, where the snow would be about 1.25-1.75 feet higher then it. Then I realized that my car would just get stuck on my steep icy driveway and not be able to get back up. Not worth it.
