Finally Some Driving Wheather!
Just took the Laguna out for the first time this year Sunday. Royal Purple oil change ($110.00), New carb gaskets ($75.00), drifting past a Cop at a 4-way and getting a thumps up (priceless). I can't believe the respect and head nods I get in the car. Pics/Video coming soon!

That first drive of the year is always cool.
I haven't had my MCs out yet ... maybe soon.

Had my '74 Malibu out of storage at the airport, to warm it up for an oil change (Valvoline VR-1) I need a new battery in it before driving it on the road. I drive it around the airport taxiways occasionally to keep it "limbered up" Sure is nice to drive something with power after a winter in my pickup !

Pila, that is a nice looking Malibu! I see what you mean about that battery, it has already turned green. JB

Yeah, it's green! It's an Interstate battery that belongs to my partner. What I don't like about those is that they have no carrying handles, and they hard to get in & out of the battery tray.

Haven't had mine out yet, either. Unusually cool, wet weather this Spring just hasn't gotten me in the mood to do any crusin'. Only seen a handful of classics on the streets so far. First significant car show at the State Fairgrounds tomorrow, but it's supposed to be around 32 degrees, cloudy and blustery when it starts. I remember a few years ago there were actually snow bursts that would coat the cars at that car show.

I'm just itching to get my car out, but still waiting for the dash to come back, then the installation.... Hope to have it all together by June 1st.
