rear end ?

got a 91 caprice and was puttin in new fuel pump and seen a use limited slip gear lube tag my ? is did gm only put them on limited slips and posi heard both yes and no anyone know

To my knowledge those tags only went on limited slip rears (gov-lok, posi, etc.) as there wouldn't be any use in having the limited slip lube in an open diff. You'll know when you take the cover off to replace the fluid, but I'd be willing to bet it's LS.

*My 1990 Caprice rear is open & doesn't have a tag.
