1973 454 2-1/2 mandrel bent exhaust
I figured since exhaust is topic these days,i would just post mine again.
pics I took today
factory muff was offset in and center out. the pypes rep said that these are 72 monte tail pipes. so the muffs had to have offset out. the tails are 2 piece, but you cant see the seem. we had to use the 72 pipes because the ones that they sent for a 73-77 a-body tails were straight. I didn't want straight,i wanted tucked up in the 1/4... it was at shop for 2 weeks because of fitment issues with the header collector and the tails. the cost was about 850.00ish but I was happy with the result..

I need something like it. So It's a kit? What was the cost the way you bought it before installation cost? I have manifolds but I want a similar set up.
I'm actually thinking about 4 shorty glass packs. 2 under the seat, two on the tail pipe, under the 1/4 ers.

Pipes also makes stock manifold pipes for.our.cars and they're pretty inexpensive.
I wouldn't put any muffler under the seat area due.to fit, vibratio and especially beat.

I meant back seat. Funny thing is (or maybe not)that when I took the back seat out to clean it there were burnt spots in the foam already. :O
What's all the black stuff on tail pipe and rear trim?? ;-)
