this is what QA1 said : the torque must be same as factory replacement 50 for the uppers 80 for the lowers, now as far as the preload thats a different story. the pre load as he explained it to me if you have a race or circle track BY THE WAY WHICH IS WHAT THESE ARE MEANT FOR ONLY, HE TOLD ME TO STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST RUNNING THESE FOR STREET APPLICATION'S...........................they are meant for the abuse of the track circle and drag racing ONLY !!

Now for the preload you can set that to your liking he said you could it as low as 4 to be safe but zero you will trash the set. It can be set from 0 to 25 the street use he said you would want it higher but not full load. hope this helps buddy but THEY MUST BE TORQUED WHEN INSTALLING TO FACTORY SPECS WHEN YOU FIRST PUT THEM AND THEN ADJUST THE PRE LOAD TO YOUR LIKING,for the preload is just the tension being put on the joint it self for resistance.
