Thats the first time I seen a 73 with the bumper tucked, doesn't quite look as good as the older models do, even the quarter window filled in doesn't look right. But I'm not judging, its his car to do with how he pleases. I like the car tho sounds really good! And he did a good job on it!

There must be one hell of a blind spot with those windows filled in.

the back bumper is chrome, and the front is painted .... need to both be the same.... and I do not like the filled-in opera window.

the paint job looks pretty good, and there's probably 20k in that motor. I love the throatty sound of it.

I didn't notice the bumper difference. I always thought Lagunas would have looked better of the rear bumpers were body color. Maybe the front is fiberglass?

Not a fan of the quarter windows either. Anyone notice right at the end that all 4 tail lights lit up when he hit the brakes? Thats odd. So I guess he doesnt have any reverse lights.

i agree. It does take some definite love of certain car (in this case a'73 chevelle) to put tens of thousands into a car with a limited following. As someone who has loved g3's (specifically 73/74 chevelles and Monte carlos) since before i could drive i would love to build something like that. But i would be a little concerned that if i ever decided (or had) to sell that it would fetch way less than what was put into building it. This is where the 67/69 Camaro, 55/57 Chevy, 66/70 chevelle crowds have it good. They can built a high dollar car and be pretty safe that they can get 20+thousand for it.

I've thought about filling in the quarter windows on my 75. I have never actually looked through them to see anything, so I doubt it would cause any problems....I love the motor in that beast. Oh, to have the money for a motor like that...
