just wanting to hear what you would think of a 73 malibu with a stinger hood? seen a lot of cowel hoods and a couple of the L88 but never seen a stinger hood on a 73? had a talk with a guy that will make it if i want. just seeing what you all think.

I like the idea! Cowl hoods are nice...but, they've been overdone. Would be cool to see some other hood configurations. Been wondering what to do with my Laguna's hood, too.

I just searched eBay for hood scoops and found mine.  '67 buick gran sport 400, i wasnt looking for anything specific, its just what I found that I thought would look cool.Cool

I've been thinking about a Thunderbolt scoop, but the cost for a custom made hood is $1,000, so forget it. JB

I think an L88 would look great on these,not on my Monte though,hoods too long but on a Laguna it would great.

Always kind of liked the scoops on the '71 Dodge Demon, too...with the blacked out hood. Cool!

Agreed. I just posted yesterday on another thread that I would like to do a stinger hood on mine, but was thinking about removing the stinger point that comes forward toward the front. I would have to make it a bit wider to match the car better, but I think that it could be an awesome look. I may draw one up to see.

i have looked into this and will go with a steel stinger hood buy it from a company that is making them for the camaro cut it out and cut and weld to my hood so there is not to much to do but line and fit brace the underside should look like it came from the factory i hope. lol
