looking for paint code for ss

Hello - we are ordering the paint for the silver stripes tomorrow but was wondering if there is a specific code for this or it it just the 1973 silver #64 mentioned in the literature? And will they be able to cross reference this at the supplier? Anybody done this? Thanx!

It's been my experience that the automotive paint places can cross over that color if you have the number.

Its ppg paint code 8568. Same as the vette rally wheels.
Heres the paint chart, center area shows the stripe colors and codes. I have the original 1973 chart if you would like a copy. Same as the pic. Just pm me.

Just finished putting the windows in and all the weatherstrips, bumper assembly and now working on the front bumper and grill stuff to finish up before it goes into storage. Here is a pic from a couple of weeks ago just out of the paint booth, lots of clear coat in case we had some sags to buff out. Wet sand in the spring after it sits for a couple of months.
