I've been looking for some re-fills for the original G3 type wiper blade assemblies, the dull chrome type blade holders for 18 inch inserts.
Any ideas ??

If you are looking for original Tricos, they are part number 43-160 (16" is the correct length for our cars). You'll have to find them online as I found that no auto parts store in the Mpls./St. Paul area carried them anymore.

OK..I'll look some more.....

I just re-painted ( base/clear) the bottom half of the passenger door on the El Camino project. The paint looked thin to me, so.....
When that's sanded & buffed, the painting will finally be finished...

Seems like the wiper blade I picked from the bunch was from a '76 Caddy I scrapped out, with the 18 inch blade insert on it. I could have checked the blades on Malibu for length I guess......
I'll likely just put the plastic crap on it for now.....

Steve is it any 16" made by trico for a friend of mine has a lot of them they are WIPER REFILL RF-16-1 LP-16-1

There were a few different styles of refills from what I remember. Think it had to do with the width of the blade and type of interlock tabs. I honestly don't know if the RF-16 will fit our wiper arms.

I found refills for the stock wiper assemblies on my 74 Laguna at Amazon. It seems like most of the parts houses want to sell the entire assembly rather than refills.
