I'm wondering if anyone has made custom kick panels speakers for their car? I'm considering doing this, but wanted to know if this would work.

Yep have had them in for years need to be small and flat ones but you can make up the sound difference with the rears.

I have made a few for cars its the same process as this one. added gold plated mirror to this one in a 35 chevy.

Watch this video its not the greatest but it will give you the over all idea of how to go about it. I would get a second pair of kick panels and cut out the wood ring then hot glue the ring and spacers to the stock panel. wrap with polar fleece then resin it up. You can make any thing you want just takes time.
