Greetings from KC
Hello! It's great to see a forum dedicated to these under-appreciated beauties. I grew up in a '74 Chevelle that my parents bought new. In fact, I was brought home from the hospital after I was born in that car. It was my first car, and it got me hooked on going fast and cars in general. My dad and I spent quite a few weekends keeping it running well. Because of that car, I became a technician which eventually lead to my current position as a district manager of a large mobile tool company. When I quit wrenching to start my own business as a tool distributor, I decided it was time to let her go. The body was getting rough and I didn't see myself being able to work on it with my new venture. I sold her to a good friend who had the time and money to do it right.
Fast forward 12 years and it's time for a project car. The kids are getting older and would love to pass the car bug on to them. I'm working a deal on another '74 with 47k miles on it. Hopefully it will work out. Looking forward to learning and helping were I can here.
