What's wrong with that? I had two kids in car seats & still put them in the back seat of my Eclipse Spyder. Kids go in, top goes up. Kids come out, top goes down!

I used to have a 64 Dodge Dart 4 speed convertible and loved it, but it sure played havac eith my cataracts. JB

Convertibles are really supposed to be good weather cars. Maybe older ones leak, but I drove through a blizzard from Baxter Springs, KS to Lawrence, KS once. Looking back it was a stupid idea & my buddy's beetle didn't make the whole journey, but mine sure kept us all warm & dry for the duration of the trip. I never had the wind noise either until about 120-130+ mph.
Oh well to each his own I guess.
