HEATER BLOWER CASE
Has anyone bought this? I want to remove the AC from the car, and i came across this on ebay. Will this match up to a AC car?

Re: HEATER BLOWER CASE
If that's the actual part, no. AC panels bolt up in different locations. Sucks too since that looks pretty cheap & I'm doing the same thing. This is the only place I've found so far:

Remove the A/C? Aren't you in AZ man? Don't know what I would do here without A/C!

Well I removed the A/C in mine and I live in Texas! Although it didn't work in the first place.

Man, I couldn't handle it. I drove it for 4 years without A/C. During this last rebuild, I HAD to put it in. 120 degree days are freaking brutal with the A/C on, let alone not having any.

Re: HEATER BLOWER CASE
I really don't like how it looks with all the AC stuff on the firewall, to me it looks too cluttered. Plus the price of a new compressor, and replacing what ever else it needs. I rather just take it off. Its only going to be a weekend car, so it won't be to bad.

Re: HEATER BLOWER CASE
I'll agree with you on the cluttered look, that's for sure. Well, we both know you don't need heat.... I'd take it all out, completely smooth out the firewall, and put in a Vintage Air unit some day.

Re: HEATER BLOWER CASE
I was thinking of shaving the firewall too, but to me that looks to plain on the big firewall these cars have. If it was a small car then yeah i would do it. The heater is coming out too, but i will be using the cover as a filler more then anything. I know I'm being picky
