What's your favorite?
Preferred penetrating oil
Here's a good poll for everyone. I've always enjoyed PB as my standby to easily free up rust, but recently had a seized motor that wouldn't even budge after spraying 1/2 the can down the cylinders. This got me to thinking that the old can of "Blaster" might not be the best rust eater out there, so I'm gonna open my ears to see if there are any home remedies that people have tried & what the preferred brand of penetrating oil is.
Here's my $0.02. In the past I've learned this from experience.
Liquid Wrench is a good lubricant, not penetrant
WD-40 sucks & believe it or not, will help rust form
When all else fails, torch or cut it off. If that's not feasible, get a BFH

Liquid Wrench. I love the stuff for lubricating & light duty use.
PB Blaster. Usually frees up the heavier rust. Works better IMHO.

So can vinegar. Drop a nasty old penny in vinegar for a couple of days & tell me the results.....
