Re: Gotta Luve G-Body's
Yeah blacked out posts are something that I prefer too. Gives the car a more modern look & helps conceal them, especially with tint. What I'd really like to see done is an older 4 door with the door handles moved to the posts, similar to a Beretta. Probably not feasible, but just an idea that I've kicked around.

Re: Gotta Luve G-Body's
The only G body I've owned was a new '84 black Buick Regal Limited, which was a really nice car, but had a wimpy 3.8 V6 in it.
I wouldn't put the Grand national in the class with other G bodies, it was in it's own class! All that power, and 22-23 miles per gallon from what I was told !

I do like the 1980-85 "Bustle Back" Cadillac Sevilles a lot...these Salons...eh...
Maybe that explains why I like it. It reminds me of my Imperial (My first Imperial in the 90's was my first show car)

Re: Gotta Luve G-Body's
Then a guy I work with, asked if I had any rims for a 84 Grand Prix, because his were stolen.
I mentioned I had a set of 16" TA wheels for it off my old GP, and I hadn't been able to find a nice GP to replace it with. Next thing I know instead of selling him my rims I bought his car.
It has a blown up 3.8l..... I'm thinking LS transplant

That Imperial is a Frank Sinatra Edition, isn't it?

Yep, one of 279 made for 1982. Which is why I have such a hard time deciding what to do with it.
I had a custom 81 Imperial fresh out of H.S..
But back then no one could keep the injection working, so I got rid of it. I always wanted another one. When I came across this one I had to have it. The Frank Sinatra Edition was just a bonus. But since then I've found so many other projects, this one just doesn't fit in....

Man, I would love one of those.
I love those cars, and I'm also a HUGE Sinatra fan.
