My previous summer car
Ive gone Rice to Muscle! (Please dont look at me any differently ) But this car was VERY VERY fast! Rare subaru color "Blaze yellow". They only mabe them in this color 2002 WRX sedans. I put a 2007 STI motor in it. It was a hell of a sleeper !
Im more of a "old school" guy now. I love my CHEVELLE!

I won't look down on you for owning an import, but maybe for owning a Subie. I'm more of a Mitsu guy myself. I know BlackChevelleSS has a wicked little turbo GEO & I'm sure there are more closet ricers hiding on the forum.
It is a nice ride though. Never seen a yellow WRX.

Re: My previous summer car
One of my pilot friends has a Chevy Cobalt with a turbocharged 4-banger in it. I didn't know they were available. Anyway, it really hauls. Not my kind of car though. I like more iron around me......

I will say that I would love to have a Geo SUV. With an LS engine swap!

Re: My previous summer car
....GEO Tracker? Screw the V8, if it's a 1.6 8V, then you just use the DOHC head & turbo set up from a Swift GTi & crank up the boost. 200hp out of a motor that weighs about 100 lbs wet with no fabrication involved & a total investment of less than a grand to do it right. Keep in mind that they only weigh around 2000 lbs so a LB:HP ratio of 10:1 is feasible for cheap.

Re: My previous summer car
Its so easy to swap in a STI motor in those subies, and the WRX is lighter then the STi models. One of my friends has a nice swap.....take a look
