i just noticed the groove in the rotor....what was this for? Ive ran into many G3s with it

I think its just a cooling groove or the pads have been worn down so far they ate into the rotor

The groove can be found on the original rotors on your cars.They are for cooling.The dude doing the brakes looks like he has bowling shoes on. Id be rocking the 4 door Salon if I had a growing family in 1974.
