There is nothing on that engine that is original so you are going to have to hunt to find matching parts for it. The numbers on the block are GUESSES at best. Without opening it up you have no idea whats actually there. Casting numbers mean it WAS a 454 engine at one time. And the stampings on the front deck only tell you what the block came out of. Most likely a truck, since there was really no 454's in cars after 74. Take comfort in knowing that the ENGINE being a big block is externally standard to all Big block engines.

Machine shop can deck a block and leave the stamped number pad untouched.
Not unless its a numbers matching value block will we take the effort. For random engines, it milled flat.
