Speedometer Cables, transducers, etc etc
Hey
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, or if anyone really is interested in this...however...
If you have a non-functioning / unwanted cruise control transducer and you are wanting to clean up your engine bay a touch, you may not have to buy a non-cruise speedo cable. Discovered yesterday on my Grand Prix that the upper speedo cable was the perfect length to be disconnected from the transducer and be hooked up to the transmission. Even used the same little brackets to hold it up to the floor board. Check your upper cable before you shell out the clams for a new cable, you may have a freebie deal on your hands
Take care,
Jesse
