High winds
Last night we had some unusually high winds, and still have fairly strong wind here. When I went outside this morning, I had a lot shingles on my front lawn, (North side) which all came from the south-west part of my roof, near the peak.
I use to fix the roof myself, but I don't get around on the roof like I used to. My roof was replaced about 6 years ago, and this is the first time any shingles got torn off. I had a different type put on then.
The first type were the 3-tab type, which blew off every time the weather got cloudy
The 9-12 pitch is a bit much for me these days...
