Post by LS_Quest Wed 28 May 2014 - 13:04

Just wanted to say, "hello" from Charlotte, NC.   Smile

Recently joined the forum after several months lurking.  I do not have a G3 yet: I relly love the '77 442's and will get one someday.  But anyhow, my Son does have a 73 El Camino that we have done a lot of work to over the last year or so.  Mostly body and drivetrain.  I will post a link to his build thread on LS1tech when my probation period is up.

I joined this site hoping we can get some good info and help from all you knowledgeable members.  We are going to be starting work on the susupension and brakes soon in an attempt to do some auto-x, drag racing, etc. at this years LS Fest in Bowling Green, Ky.  We are on a tight budget so parts interchange and hunting the parts down will be the hardest part.  We do all our own work, so that part is free.

Welcome! You will find a lot of knowledgeable people here, and if you prowl through the old posts you will find a lot of helpful information on parts interchange, too.

We like pics, so post some when you can!

Welcome. Hit me up if you come to Ky I will try and meet up with you. I love any change to see a G3. I live in Somerset Ky, not too far from Bowling Green.

Nice tip on the oil pan for everyone.

Do you have a photo of the air filter setup with you upper radiator hoses ran?

Should have one somewhere. I'll post it when I get home later. If I can't find one, I'll take a pic sometime this week and post it.
