Heater Control Valve
I can't seem to remember how the heater control valve is installed. Can anyone post a pic of how it should be installed?

Re: Heater Control Valve
Mine came out of the port next to the thermostat housing. I took mine out and put one in the heater hoses.
I hated the look of having hoses running over the intake, so I did this.

Ah, make sense now, thanks guys. One of the 3 HVAC vacuum hoses from the firewall connects to the heater control valve correct?

Re: Heater Control Valve
That's correct. Mine was missing and I haven't gotten around to splicing a new one onto it as the A/C is inoperative anyway.

Thanks Mcarlo77! I think I have the vacuum hoses figured out and need to figure out the wiring. I also need my car back so I can try and install it all to see if it works.
