Does anyone know where I can find a decent floor console that would work for a 1973 to 1977 El Camino with a floor mounted standard transmission? A friend of mine is looking and I told him I would help. Please let me know? Thank you

Any 73-77 console BOTTOM from a chevelle, el camino, sprint or monte will work.  Its the TOP padded part that is specific to the manual trans.  They are hard to find.

Thank you for showing me what they look like. I appreciate it. As for the one for $1000 I don't think I want to buy one that I would have to rob a bank to purchase. I hope someone can come up with something a little more reasonable? Thank you all

there are very few and far, i sold mine for 350. but i kept the shift knob lol

Yes he did. I was the one that got them together and helped negotiate the price. He is very happy and my job is done. I am thrilled that I was able to help him find what he wanted.

Exactly. ...  He should also make some 3D or fiberglass copies he could easily make some people happy by doing that
