I don't know about the VHT stuff, but I can say from personal experience that when I had headlight covers on my S10, I couldn't see 10 feet in front of me on a dark road. Just food for thought. On the other hand, here's a pic of the only G3 I've ever seen with blacked out tails:

I have often wondered if my old school half moon headlight covers were legal or not. There are SEVERAL cars in my area with them...so I assume they are legal...I would be BIG TIME bummed if I had to remove them. Thems is sweet X)

I have not seen half moon headlight covers in 40 years. The law here says as long as there is no color on the light and as long as the light goes 500 feet (or some other unknown number) you are legal. JB

I tried every auto parts store in my area. They all looked at me like I had a horn coming out of my head. I had to order them online. Which I hate doing. But, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Online shopping....... the Walmart of tomorrow! Seriously though, if you are using them on your Plymouth why not go with some cat's eyes? That would look gnarly.

Try proofreading your posts sometimes. I have a hard time reading them...I'm probably not the only one.
